enough about us

Elinor. “If mama ain’t happy ain’t nobody happy.”  Likes to play sports, cook, write, do yoga, and eat. Favorite things: Truffle oil, great hikes, massages, ambien, the ocean, Annie Lamott, and cheese fries. Looking forward to more family time. Forty-three.

Ross. Active father. Best coach. Up for sainthood as he takes on a commute that rivals none other. Looking forward to snow and his new market hours. Likes golf, squash, politics, playing sports with his kids and self reflection (he just doesn’t know it yet…) More middle aged than mama.

Peter. Second baseman. Runs like the wind. Excited for a new kind of learning. Mortified about the prospect of his mother writing a blog. Likes baseball, squash, hanging with friends & ikura. Nearly thirteen.

Luke. Brother, middle child. Makes us laugh a lot, charms his way into everything. Loves to play sports– All of them. Adores Frisbee Golf, Tostito Queso Dip, and sleeping. Eleven, but wise beyond his years.

Whitney. Home grown gymnast (learned on the sidelines of her brothers’ baseball games.) Excited to ride horses and pet them during recess. Sad to leave her “BFF’s.” Likes One Direction, back bends, horses “and my family.” Seven going on seventeen.

Birdie. Our sweet beloved bridge-fearing often car sick waif of a havanese. Four.
