The eve of…
Phew. Well even if the forest fires prevent us from getting to Sun Valley, our house in Illinois is immaculate, our photos organized, papers sorted, itunes accounts stocked. I’ve got an ointment and an antidote for every possible scenario…hopefully it will play out like carrying an umbrella does. Kids seem to have worked through their thousand goodbyes and “last time I’ll turn out this light for a while” comments and are genuinely psyched.
Everyone exhausted and heading to bed for a few hours before our 4:00 a.m. wake up call.
